haha I both, pregnancy induced insomnia and I gag all the time. I brush my teeth over the toilet.

On a positive note, we have the cleanest toilet around. That baby is bleached and lysol wiped multiple time a day, lol.
And I am awake from about 2ish every night now, and then wake up around 7. So still 5 hours, but my body is so tired, I wish I could sleep. And I KNOW how tired I will be when baby comes, so it is annoying. My DD didn't start sleeping through the night until recently, so this is my first opportunity to sleep at night uninteruppted for more than years (3 is your count the insomnia from my pregnancy with her), and now I can't. I tend to try to do "useful" things in my insomnia state. Like imagine what wonderful push present I will create for myself, or pic out the finishing details for the "kids" room I am working on right now.

It does not help me sleep, but it does make it so that I have some quiet time to think about things that I haven't otherwise had a second to plan.
OT, but I had a genius idea a few nights ago, about covering the wooden boxy frame part on my DD's "big girl bed" with foam and some sorta lux cloth, and it turns out is is easy and doable, and the supplies only cost me $100. It is going to be fun and totally cute, and so much safer! So that was a genius pregnancy induced insomnia moment, lol. DD still sleeps in our bed however, so the next part of my plan; actually getting her to want to sleep in the bed, still needs a lot of thought, lol.
Luckily, I can nap with my DD in the afternoon though.
Congrats on the heart beat Sim!!

I am always nervous until I hear it that first time too. And then you get nervous until you feel the baby move, lol. And then you are nervous because you think they aren't moving enough...and then you are nervous because you have to birth them and "what if..." takes over. And then they are here!! and you are TERIFIED because you realize they were SO MUCH SAFER inside you, and the world is pretty much hazardous and germy where ever you look, lol. So get used to being scared

You will feel that way a lot as a mother.
