m76steve Ashaholic Registered: 07/09/11 Posts: 344 Loc: maryland, usa.	This weekend #1 & i went to a gem show, ive been looking for a ruby, not perfect or big bucks, for years. I walked in a small show in baltimore, md. & found my stone. The seller is a traveller to gem shows & homey to florida. The stone i bought is a good red color, SI clarity, tested no-treatment by my appraiser, & has an origin from africa. It is oval, 4.22cts. & shows well in any light. measures 10x7.5x6.0mm & #1 says she might let me wear it sometimes. Will mount it in 18kt yellow gold & show pics when compl. Many thanks to those who looked & left positive comments-the pic of the stone does show a little dust on the table or top of the stone & when viewed on a scope, u can see the natural inclusions, fingerprints, silk, naturals suspended in crystal, no clouding & one can focus in the stone from top to bottom, really neat to see. Good stones are out to b had at reasonable prices, one just has to b on the lookout at times & b willing to negotiate with a seller if there is serious interest-still lots of fun-steve...
