And I realized I haven't named the pendant yet, though I've had it a good long while. Hmmmm. I should get on that. EVERYTHING in my life has a name!
I totally hear you on the Halo thing too. I don't consider myself a halo or pave person...but these just get me. The ruby I adore because of the beaded bezel, and because the pave is larger than you normally see. It's very eye catching and in the sun the contrast is incredible.
The pear just feels like it's from another time. And you're right. It's delicate AND chunky somehow in a way that works. I love the milgrain and the pave next to the clean bezel. Makes the platinum really stand out somehow.
Thanks for loving it along with me! My little collection makes me very happy!

After a pm I got I'm adding more of the ring. I have some of David's photos that I'm throwing up for a lovely lady who said very nice things about my ring.
and one of my terrible shots that I just love anyway:
Scrumptious! Rubies are a special gem to me since ruby is my daughter's birthstone, and I love rubies set in yellow gold. You have a beautiful collection!

Your collection is stunning, and with quality pieces like this, you really only need a few (though you should always have your welcome sign up for more just in case... ) I cannot believe the attention to detail! Didn't even realizer the ring is all yellow gold - the detail is so intricate that the diamonds show enough to give it a 2-tone effect. Just beautiful!

throwing pictures here too....no longer a trio! Natural ruby and diamond earrings made to go with the ring:
these are the nicest rubies I have ever seen. Just...wow.
4.8mm and 4.9mm natural rubies set in 18k gold with .62 carats of VS1 F-G round brilliant diamonds. The rubies are prong set and the diamonds are in a scalloped bezel so they look like a flower. LOVE.
I cannot believe the attention to detail! Didn't even realizer the ring is all yellow gold - the detail is so intricate that the diamonds show enough to give it a 2-tone effect. Just beautiful!
