Hi all,
Its Friday and time for another weekly update!
This week was in some ways a bit depressing b/c we're seeing the full picture of the costs involved to scale up production for the Amora gem. Lets just say its easily double what I had expected.
Anyway, we're continuing to move forward but it is going to be a very expensive proposition. The net is much more supply in the long run, but very costly to get there.
On some better news - we've been refining two new cuts for the Amora Gem. One is a true princess cut, and the other is an H&A Cushion cut.
So, while we are still finalizing these, our cutter did take a scope photo so that we could show the pattern of the Amora Cushion H&A for you to see for now.
So, here is first world preview of the Amora Gem's H&A cushion cut

This was taken under the H&A scope to show the arrows pattern (to clarify why it is tinted red)
Once these are done, we'll get similar videos of them the way we did with the Amora H&A round.
We are continuing to get a bit more coverage from the Amora H&A debut, and this week VenusVixen.com, a beauty website, wrote a short article asking whether Amora Gem would replace the venerable diamond. Here's a link for that:
VenusVixen.com Amora Gem article On other news:
Asha sales continue to grow - both Asha and Amora enhanced Moissanite continue to expand their sales volume. We are hoping to complete one more coating run before the holidays to get the Krupps and the sold out H&A rounds restocked.
New rings rolling out - we've got all of our new rings completed in terms of master models and first photo models. This week we released the 'Duality ring' and next week the Helen of Troy will go out for sale.
The Amora Enhanced Moissanite cushion is proving to be very popular and this review was just posted today and I'll close with that for this week.
This customer purchased the Amora Moissanite cushion and the BTD Timeless Halo for cushions:
Last night, I received my Timeless Halo (with a 7mm Amora Cushion). I was so anxious to see it in real life. My fears were: 1. that it would be bulky 2. not be true to size and 3. the stone would look fake. None of those things were there. It is so beautiful and delicate.
It's truly my dream ring.
The band is much thinner than the photos on here show! I ordered it in spite of that, and my gut feeling was right. The diamonds are sparkly, the band has an amazing shape, the micropave diamonds are perfect.
I wish I saw a review like mine before ordering, but I'm just as happy to be the first.
Have a great weekend!
