My DH has, a few times. smile He thought it was fun. He will be attached to the leader person, so they jump in tandem. Still too terrifying for me.

I USED to want to do it, when I was a teenager and believed nothing could ever go wrong. Funny, but when my dad and I signed up to do it, they wouldn't let me, even with his permission. Once I was old enough, I'd grown a brain and said, NO WAY... I don't see the point in jumping out of a perfectly good working airplane. LOL.

wink

To each their own though! I get my thrills from sparkles now. LOL.

My BF & I did a tandem jump for our 30th bday. It was really fun, highly recommend. Another good friend didn't jump, she waited at the bottom w/ the champagne.
The biggest surprise is that there was no sensation of falling whatsoever. Just wind RUSHING by!! And once the chute went up, my guy started doing circling spirals and I had to tell him to stop. I get way motion-sick. He did, and the rest of the ride down was super pleasant.
I'd do it again, but my husband is terrified of heights.

See, that whole falling thing is what gets me! He's all about things like this. So, that's what I'm getting him for our anniversary. I can't wait to see the look on his face. lol. I'll be waiting at the bottom............and making sure his life insurance is up to date. jk

He ask me what I wanted and my response was "really?? you have to ask that??" I'm getting jewelry. lol

I went before and it was sooo much fun! If you are afraid of heights.. I wouldnt worry about it. Its not the same 'height problem' as tall buildings or anything like that.. its completely different! It was so relaxing actually (at the end when they opened the parachute at least - the free fall was AMAZING!). I would definitely suggest that everyone try it once! Such a thrill.
