Wow! This is not what I had in mind at all! I was expecting a modern type ring, since you talked about the bezel. But this is incredibly organic feeling! LOVE IT! Also, the stone is great! It reacts very well to the overcast conditions I think! Nothing at all like my old RB.

It is much more me than the more classic/traditional looks or the antique looks (which I totally admire and love looking at, but don't fit my personality and "me" quite as much!). They are still modern in the sense of their sculpting and clean lines, but I did want something that at the same time looked somewhat rustic and nature-inspired-looking. I also like that they always look a bit different when I wear them. The bands fit against each other in all sorts of different ways. In some ways when I place them they fit very snugly, so there is almost no gap as they "tuck" into each other, but in other ways I get more spacing. And then of course, since the melee varies across them, I get all sorts of results. I like how free-flowing they can be that way - always a bit different! Yeah, I have to admit I was quite loving it in the overcast. People were looking at me a little oddly standing by my car in a public parking lot (by my gym) at 7:30am and taking pictures of my hand...ha. I found the faceting rather intriguing under that sky though. There definitely was some body colour in there that I noticed as I was driving, but it was not a body colour that to me screamed "green apple" or "snotcast" as I have heard some describe. Whatever it was, it was very pleasing to me personally and another property I just love about this stone. I actually like it in that lighting more than the sparkly gym lighting that gives it that really rainbow-ey sparkle, but I can be a bit weird like that!

So glad you love the set I just figured out what they remind me of! They look a bit like bamboo! So, very nice clean lines, but also very natural and intriguing.

OMG, I only made it to the first picture and I'm calling SHOTGUN!! I LOVE YOUR ENTIRE SET!! Okay, I'm going back to check out the rest of the thread now... Ha ha, okay, I will put you second after MissGotRocks who had called shotgun before she ever even saw them. Though I certainly plan on these being with me forever and ever (these are the rings I should have had in the first place!), so it may be a long wait!
