I wouldn't go thinner than a 2mm shank...especially if your stone is over 7mm. Thin shank rings wind up going out of round, and if they have pave on the shank (which obviously yours wouldn't as you want a solitaire), the stones can wind up loosening up or falling out from simple daily wear.

My sister definitely wants a 3mm in yellow. I just checked. The 3mm is 2.5 on the bottom and then sort of flares to 3mm on top. The roseco is my favorite cathedral and hers too, now! She's actually fairly ready-do we know the difference in cost between regular orders and if there are 5? Also does the 5 mean the solitaire or 5 pieces? She wants a band too...

As long as it is the Roseco band I will count that.

Is this special still going on or am I too late? I've got a wink cz ACC in lightest yellow that I had set in a yellow gold cathedral and I don't love it! I'm thinking a heavier white gold setting may be better.
