That's brilliant (no pun intended)! Why have the producers pay 50,000 for a real diamond ring if the chances of a Bachelor couple getting married are so very low? Makes a lot of sense. I really hope they're not seriously paying 50K for a real diamond ring every season. That's 16 seasons (excluding Bachelorette) times 50K, so 800,000 dollars spent on rings that have almost never remained on a woman's hand through marriage. Awful waste of money...
