Well, to me if your heart is set on a cushion, then an OEC moissanite (as gorgeous as they are and as biased as I am!) probably will still leave you feeling a bit "if only". Know what I mean? I also think your setting really "suits" a cushion. I have seen that OEC with french cuts you linked, and it does look lovely, but I don't know...to me the style of the ring with the graduating French cuts just works with a cushion.

I have two ways of looking at this. The fact that you are still looking at this O cushion months later either says "you want it but just want to hear that you will like the O" (whic of course only YOU can figure out!) or "the fact you have not bought it maybe says you should walk away from it as you don't really love it".

Personally, I love, love, love, love warm coloured stones. Did I say love enough? Like Erica, I am fully into the "embrace the warmth" idea and it would not bother me at all to have contrast. However, I definitely know there are many who do want a very similar colour all across, or feel that the contrast would mean the lower colour would look "dingy" (I just think it looks warm and buttery!).

Is it possible to get your hands on the stone to see - have your current stone popped out of the LM and to just put the O in there (not set, but just loosely put in there just to look at it) and see how YOU feel. If you like it, keep it and have SK do the work for you, if you don't return it and consider your options.

Responding to the concern over color differences: I have a halo that is E/F melee and the center stone is an M and I LOVE the contrast. But everyone is different in that regard!
