I agree, love her photos! She put so much time into her day, it looked absolutely amazing. I'm really happy for her.

I just saw some post titled something like "why i chose diamond and what people wont say about moissanite." Let me just say the person that posted it is a nasty, childish, immature witch. I'm biting my tongue I'm so angry. Shes scared of people with moissanite taking away from her social status, gag me. I've only read 2 posts from the bee and I'm so disgusted I'll never read anything over there again.

Wow, I can't believe that thread! She has made such sweeping comments and judgements and obviously has a huge problem herself.

So I wear a Rolex given to me on a special birthday by hubby and I also wear my "fake" moissy ering with my "fake" berricle eternity band. I wonder what that makes me? I am flashing a status symbol watch so I presumably want people to think I am wealthy, but I am also wearing my "fake" wedding set to con everyone I see who admires it into thinking I am wearing the real deal!

You are just a walking contradiction Cookie, lol. You may not be fully deserving of status and you certainly can't be in the same class as the 2ct woman. You should be glad of that!!

This was my favourite reply:

1. We could have afforded a diamond.

2. We could have afforded an even larger diamond when we changed my rings later on due to allergies.

3. I completely open that I wear moissanite but no I do not wear a shirt that announces it.

4. If people are uninformed enough to assume any nom-coloured stone is diamond that is not my responsibility.

5. There are plenty of stones that are more costly than diamonds. A pigeon blood ruby for one.

6. People who think a physical object gives them status are lacking in a lot of other things. This goes for those who "show off" brands too.

7. Some of the wealthier people I have met show it off the least.

8. Wearing a 2ct diamond to me says "I spent $25k+" or inherited it. Period. It means they spent $25k+ less on other things.

9. I wear a moissanite as it is gorgeous, lustrous, durable and I do not get excited about diamonds or paying money I work hard for on what I believe is overpriced. I DO own some diamonds but it is the personality of my moissanite that interest me.
