Should I start cleaning my jewelry in drinking water?

It is beautiful!!! Congrats! I can`t see the problem with the prongs either, so hopefully it is not too noticable in real life.

I would use distilled water for jewelry cleaning. And as Dana said, the build up takes time, but once the minerals are caked on, they are hard to get off.
