For the past 5 years I have struggled to keep my weight off. After I had my first daugther my thyroid stopped working. I waited two years to get it checked and once I did and get on my meds they helped me feel more normal. Well I than started weight watchers and lost 30lbs in three months! I than got pregnant with my second baby and was on bedrest for 7 months. She is now 8 months old and I have lost 20lbs in 15 weeks. I seriously eat what I love to eat but now I just now how to portion control. I LOVE weight watchers. It is a healthy lifestyle. Weight comes off slowly but stays off.

I am also training for my first half marathon and I have a great support system. Everyone needs a support system and once you have it don't let it go. It makes it A LOT easier!!

My mom lost over 100lbs on WW. It really is a great program that teaches you how to eat and lose/maintain a healthy weight. Its not some magic diet solutuion, but a lifestyle. Its slow and steady, but it works!

It didn't work for me, but it does for so many. Congratulations on feeling so much better and good luck!

I have done WW basically all of my adult life, especially after my pregnancies, so I can say I know all the programs from the exchanges upto the the current POINTS PLUS program. The current Points Plus program is my least favorite, it seems to me that the massive points increase w/free fruits worked against me. Counting the regular Points program was best for me. Yes, it does work, but once you do not follow exactly to the tee and incorporate exercise it is very very slow in losing or maintaining and I began gaining. That being said, everyone is at a different body metabolism. For me, there are factors working against me such as age, BP meds. I still firmly believe moderation in everything, eating and exercise. It got to the point that my leader rarely stressed that, she always pushed only using a WW recipes for everything. I am at LifeTime, but it is a struggle.

I liked the GHG bit of it. If you can get those in id just say sign up for MyFitnessPal or Sparkpeople for free.

But by all means whatever works right?!
