I have a very beautiful friend...one of those girls that is just knock out stunning. Anyway, she gets a lot of attention, but has always said, "my looks are rented, but they fade I better make sure people still want to be around me and I still have a life I love". She has spent a lot of time focusing on her career and personal relationships and is also one of the kindest people I know. My DD is only 2, but people insist on teling her all the time how cute/beautiful she is. I always tell her after, yes, you are my cutie, but your looks are rented so be kind and be smart. At some point in her life she wil understand what I am talking about, lol.

Would it be weird to call shotgun on you? I am straight, but maybe we can just enjoy comparing our stamp collections..ha ha (not sure where mine is at the moment though!).

Hilarious and cute! You gotta love the humor of a philatelist! But seriously, I have a soft spot for collectors. My late and beloved dad had multiple collections - gems/minerals, oil lamps, submarine clocks, watches, leather-bound classic novels, etc. It made him such an interesting person.

Jcent your friend is a wise one! I wear moissanite, cz or diamonds regularly. If someone asks specifics I will tell them what is what. I have some large moissy/cz stones because I like pretty sparkly things and I prefer to spend my money on other things than large diamonds. If that is what you choose to spend your money on that is awesome. I don't judge. As far as people judging me for what I wear or don't wear, go ahead. It doesn't bother me because I know my real worth...priceless.

As far as people judging me for what I wear or don't wear, go ahead. It doesn't bother me because I know my real worth...priceless. You are awesome. Best post of the day. Agreed.
