It would probably best for all concerned if the designer inspired rings made by anyone else had some change whether major or minor I guess. But DK is certainly not the only jeweler on these boards creating rings for members based on others designs. It is a bit of sticky wicket but "In the process of being copywrited" would seem to be the key words. Can you really say your designs are owned by you until then?
Hmm...the DK ring does seem more 'inspired' than a replica.
I'm not sure what to think. There have been so many inspired rings here...even some Leon Mege rings and he apparently REALLY doesn't like that. lol. So - I ask, how much different should the ring be to make it ok? I have a combination of Tacori and Leon Mege in mind.

Hi Kat,
PM me and let me know your name and I'll research. I'm up to date on my correspondence through the end of last week and can't say I've had any recent Gabbie requests.

I agree, some many sellers/vendors (here and all over the net) for instance have SEVERAL rings made that are based/inspired and they all sell with no shame (as they should...)
