I remember someone recently got a custom cut BTD Kashmir sapphire in an OEC, but for the life of me I cannot find the post with photos. Can anyone help? THANKS!

I don't remember exactly, but I think the antique cuts did not work out well, and everyone sent them back. I know flash did with her OMC sapphire.

Ah, that's good to know. Is there a reason that BTD stopped selling the "sapphire cut" sapphires? I purchased a cushion, and returned because I was seeing a lot of black. I just got the diamond cut, and I see what nikki sees, a gray ring around the outside. BTD makes the most perfect lab sapphire (and I've looked ALL over the NYC diamond district). I want a perfect cut too!

I am still waiting on my light pink OEC sapphire and my lemon yellow OMC. I waited a while to pay and that is why I don't have them yet. I am really nervous about how they will look. If I don't like them, I hope Less will take them back and I will probably end up with a cushion Ruby.

agh, I'm losing so much money on returns! I'm glad Nikki posted a review, hopefully others won't be in my position - I feel so bad for all the money I've wasted ordering the wrong things!

Especially if you like purple tones!

I actually really dislike purple, the color of the cushion was perfect!! I think RaiKai had a sapphire cut - I need to go look at her photos and see if it's worth waiting for custom cutting.

I don't really see purple in mine, I have pics floating around so feel free to take a look
