Hi Aussiewendy

I think you will be able to pass off your Amora as a diamond especially since you say your bf could afford a diamond in that size.

I am guessing from your name you live in Australia and in that respect I think it will be easier as moissy is virtually unheard of here, so anyone looking at your ring will assume its a very good quality, sparkly diamond.

I have only ever had compliments about my ring and have even been asked how I keep my "diamond" so sparkly and do I clean it a lot!

Just be confident and know that nobody is going to know it's not a diamond unless you choose to tell them wink

Yes its true!

Most people over here in Australia believe there are two options:

1. CZ – but most Aussie’s believe that CZ is “easy to spot from a km away” because Michael Hill, Prouds and Wallace Bishop all sell really gaudy badly cut CZ, and so it looks really fake and that’s all that they are familiar with.

2. Diamond. And that’s it.

Although the “Secrets Shhhh” shops are a newer option they are not common enough for people to wonder if anyone’s engagement ring is fake. And anyone who notices the little Secrets stores is astounded with their stuff. And it has nothing on Moissy or Asha.

Basically if your ring looks like it is a nice diamond people will never even consider that it could be anything but because as far as most people in Australia know CZ is really, really bad.

Will people ask if it's real?

My boyfriend certainly can afford a real one and I live in an non-modest city.

Thank you!

in my experience people just don't ask, I've got nothing but compliments for any of my moissanite.
