Seeing stones in person is good, but if you order and return more than one stone there will be a small restocking fee.

I wasn't sure about the fee, is this true if you order just 1 Moissy from, say, MoissaniteCO and 1 Asha from AshaDiamonds?

Thanks for the feedback everyone...very helpful. Pre-purchase I might be drawn to an Asha as I am color sensitive? However, I LOOOVE sparkle! I think the best thing would be to try one of each and return the one that I don't love the most smile

Are you able to wear one or the other for everyday wear around water? I typically remove my rings before doing dishes, showering etc, but on occasion I havent't. Futher...do you have to treat these stones as "special" ones so they dont loose their beauty? (I'm not even sure if that makes sense) I guess I mean that I'm looking for a modest 1ct (compared to some of the beauties I see on here!!) low profile because I'd rather not worry about accessories while at the dog park, gym, noticing a few weeds in the garden etc. If it's a compromise I'd be okay with it...just good to know in advance

thanks again!!

Moissanite is moissanite. It's its own gem the same way CZ is a gem.

Gemesis Labs and BTD both grow real diamonds, but they generally match the prices that mined diamonds cost, so it's not really cheaper to go the man-made route, diamond-wise...

With lots of dirt/oil, CZ and Asha can lose their sparkle, but that's what cleaners are for! : )

Moissanite is super-fiery, so if you love color, go this route. They also tend to be a little warmer in color than CZ, so if you want to pass this off as a diamond, it'd be a little easier because it doesn't look absolutely WHITE. It's also much more durable than CZ. So this will last a while, though Asha can, too, if you treat it well.

If you want perfect-diamond white, go Asha; WinkCZ also would do nicely.

Don't go for Diamond Nexus Labs. They falsely advertise and sell plain CZ. Independent tests prove this.

Hope others can chime in on this!

GREAT job Emanuela smile

p.s. I have a WinkCZ - LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE

I don't do anything special w/ my Asha other than semi-regular cleanings. It's not a typical setting, but I LOVE the functionality of my low profile, no prongs to catch on stuff setting.
And, I don't baby it at all - dishes, shower, gardening (unless it's heavy labor) scuba-diving in salt & fresh water, my rings pretty much do everything I do. 4 years in, no problems.
