Just for fun, tell me what you think of this ring from FJB? It's the 'princess' with side stones, not the halo which I adore. For the record, I absolutely hate it. There are things I like about it, but mostly I dislike it a LOT. The center stone (which they list as .75 cts and it's only .5 cts) looks terrible and there are spaces in the setting that looks like I've lost stones! You can't see that from the pics online, not until you REALLY stare after knowing what to look for.
This ring is what makes me terrified to order a princess (or any other square) cut stone from anyone. PLEASE tell me that I'm not crazy and this isn't a good looking sim!
Edited: I forgot to mention that I have actually received compliments on this, which means people will either tell you they like anything or the average person REALLY has no idea what diamonds *should* look like, for anyone worried what strangers will think haha.

Aww, thanks!! I do love it, and haven't quite decided what I'm going to do yet...but it's a Berricle ring so it won't last forever  I've thought about getting something similar in Moissy someday, if I can find a wedding band I love with it (which is a WHOLE other headache)...but I'm undecided. I have always loved square stones, since I was a teen, but since that's what I had from my first marriage I thought I should be different this time. As much as I love my halo, I kinda miss my square brilliant...but that could just be silly and sentimental of me LOL.

I thought asscher too at first!! I love my square stones, it's so hard to find a good cz in that shape. Lol, oh well.

It is!! Well the halo is, the band is an old cheapie I've fallen in love with again.
