Tonight im slaving over the crockpot getting ready for my world famous beef stew. I add peas, corn, carrots, a little onion, a little stewed tomatos, & mushrooms with a little special seasoning. My beef is where the meal shines-i dont use stew beef but a very good cut of steak-a little marbling in the meat at about 2 lbs. The finished item will feed 4 very nicely, so since its just me & #1 + the kitty, we get 2 good meals out of the pot. It goes in the heat about 4 am so by 12-1 pm-come-&-get-it! Its fun when we eat chinese because when we use chopstix, the cat cannot use them because she has no thumbs, but we work with her & she enjoys . lol, im sure the stew will be as good as usual-have good time-steve...

Double that sounds good I haven't been doing much cooking as the kid is at the college until 10-11pm most nights. Usually I just make myself a bit of meat and veggies at night. This weekend when Mr was down visiting I made a Lasagna (in a roasting pan) and Chicken Enchiladas for him to take back to NJ with him. ~Red

Tonight was breakfast for dinner. Fried eggs, bacon, and home made waffles!

Double, that does sound good.
Did you cook the wild rice first, or does it just draw liquid from the soups as it cooks?

Breakfast for dinner sounds good. I don't have bacon right now, but after living in central PA for 12 years, I finally tried scapple. It actually wasn't bad.

Lemon Salmon. This is baked Salmon that is lightly seasoned and smothered with lemon juice. This along with a sweet potato and a broccoli, carrot and cucumber salad topped with a yoghurt dressing. Delicious and satisfying for the dieter.
Yoghurt dressing. 1 cup of plain 2% fat yoghurt 2 tablespoons of frozen orange juice concentrate Mix the above ingredients and you will have a sweet salad dressing.

I love it fried thin and crispy. We can get livermush here (someone told me it was just like scrapple) but it tastes as appealing as it sounds.
