So things have changed and althought I would LOVE the Mc2 earrings...I can't afford them right now.

I have had these amora OECs on layaway since Jan so I am starting to get tired of waiting to have them... so I am going to go with a moissco setting that way I can make the final payment and also pay for the setting to get these pretty baubles on my ears in two weeks time smile

New contenders are.....!!!!

I am also considering selling my 1.5ct Asha Octet earrings as I don't wear them enough and three sets of studs may be a bit too much...although this set will be in 14k yellow gold.

4-Prong Low-Profile Round Moissanite Stud Earrings

Round Moissanite Vintage Split Prong Stud Earrings

Round Moissanite Bezel Leverback Earrings

Which earring setting?

Leverback, for something different as you will have the 2 pairs of studs.

I really like the leverbacks. I am just not convinced they will suit an antique stone, am I being silly?

Hmm no votes for the low profile basket and the vintage studs are winning at the moment!

I think they would be perfect in the leverbacks. Can you imagine when you tilt your head and the light hits those gorgeous chunky facets? Those facets are going flash colors of pink, blue, purple, yellow and teal. I don't think you are going to get this same effect with studs as they will not have as much movement. Leverbacks would be my #1 choice.

I agree!!
I have yearned for OEC leverbacks forever!!
Plus for me they are more comfortable to sleep in.
The post poke me when I sleep.

I think those lever backs are too modern for the OECs, so I voted the split vintage studs.

Why is this so hard!....

Thanks girls, I'm really torn on what to do I'm going back and forth constantly and it's starting to annoy me.

I'm wondering if it's because maybe I feel I'm "settling" for one of those settings.

Oh wait.... Lightbulb moment....should I contact DK? I can't afford to spend much on this which was my reasoning for going with moissco...that and ease.

Ok so jcent you agree?

that maybe the leverbacks are too modern for the OECs?? yes smile Would you like the leverbacks better if the had milgrain or scroll work or something? Or are you still dreaming of the MC2 ones? I don't think you should settle. But is there a second best to the MC2 ones? adding milgrain on the bezels would be simple and minimal cost.

I voted for the split prongs. I just love the look of them. and nothing wrong with having several similar earrings smile Just means you know your style really, really well.
