wow, there is a noticable difference. Well, that makes it easier to choose then doesn't it  I hope someone has a 8mm cushion for you  That would just be too easy though, lol.

I wonder if this is a light ceylon? It's really that light!
And yep, Jcent, much easier! LOL! The size is nice though. I'll like to try a 9mm cushion just for kicks, but would hate to get this color. Kinda nervous now. Surely, this isn't a kashmir stone, right?

That is a noticeable difference. The 9mm also loses even more saturation at the edges.
Maybe it was a quality control escapee?

That is a noticeable difference. The 9mm also loses even more saturation at the edges.
Maybe it was a quality control escapee? In my current 8mm round, there is also a difference in saturation around the edges, but I think that's due to the cut and light return being more intense around the outside. And totally LOLed about the escapee comment.

I agree! Not only it is MUCH lighter, but the color is different. This one has a lavender tone. It's a pretty stone in it's own right, but NOTHING like the kashmir that makes me drool!
