I don't post very often, but I do enjoy reading these threads and seeing how the progress of the Amora Gem is going and I too am one that is excited for when they come out.

But I think everyone (and I am including myself here) smile just need to be patient with the whole process. Less has been completely forthright about the fact that it has taken more funds and resources than initially expected. And like anything in life, nothing goes completely as planned when you take on a venture so huge. He has been more than generous to give us the info we need when the time is right and no doubt will continue to do so as the weeks go by.

Anyway, just giving my 2 cents and this is not directed to any one person. Just some thoughts on putting the whole thing into perspective! smile

Of course Less knows that if funding is tight, he can always offer a preorder option for... I dunno, $50 more than retail would be and we'd pretty much all HAPPILY pay for it. =P

Just saying. $500/ct is what has been quoted thus far, and if I have to throw in $550 to help fund AND reserve a 1ct. Round Brilliant stone for myself, it would take approximately .0002 seconds for my right-hand index finger to click "Send Payment." XD

I did not realize there were funding/resource issues. Does that mean that the estimated release date is now invalid? Or did I make a mistake in thinking the Amora was supposed to be released this summer/fall?

And yes, I think Less rocks (no pun intended), I look forward to giving him my money. :-D

There are not funding or resource issues but there have been larger inital investments required than first expected. If you read through the updates in this thread this info is all available to read smile.

I just wanted to point out that on top of needing to set up a lab from scratch, the Amora Gem is grown and so Less (and we) actually has to wait for some Gem to grow after setting up the lab (I think I remember it being mentioned that it takes about 16 weeks for the rough to grow).

So although we are all impatient unfortunatly its a waiting game.
