I have the ball rolling on my new project with DK! Here's a pic of the ring I am duplicating.

[img:left][/img]

I was going to use a 9mm OMC Asha for the project, but then decided I wanted something with a more antique looking color so I've put a 9mm unenhanced OEC moissy on layaway with MoissaniteCo and I've already had the first set of CADs sent to me from DK, now I just need the funds to finalize everything. Which brings me to my dilemma. My DH has agreed to let me sell my e-ring or my wedding bands or both. Well, I can't decide if I should try and sell both or just try and sell my e-ring. Here is a pic to remind everyone of what my rings look like.

[img:left][/img]

In the pic I am only wearing one band, but I have two of them. I decided I don't love the sandwich look. What would you do??

ETA: I don't think the sapphire bands will go well with the new ring. I just love the bands by themselves, but I'm not the type to really switch back and forth between rings. I just want a forever set. So I'm not sure if I would wear them very often. The color is just beautiful and they are the perfect size. That is why I was thinking about keeping at least one of them.
What to sell

I'd sell one band, keep the e-ring and the other band, and save up for the new ring or find something else to sell.

I have been leaning towards that as well Jcent, but I'm just not sure. I can't wear it on my right hand, so I'm not sure it will get worn. I am a size 5. lol

boo, I am 6. frown I just think some days, you won't want to wear a big ring. Maybe not now, but as life goes on and gets messier... House renos, baby poop etc... it is nice to just have a band to wear sometimes. And you got married with it. The $$$ may seem helpful now, but not having that ring he slipped on your finger to say "I Do" with may make you regret selling it.

I have to agree with this. Firstly, those rings are beautiful, but for sentimental reasons, I think you might regret it later down the road.

Oh my goodness, you may sell the kashmir ring? I remember finding your post when I was trying to decide if I should get a kashmir. I love enlongated cushions, so hit me up for dibs if you sell, k? If for some reason you wanted to separate the stone from the setting, double dibs! laugh

Oh and back to your question...you are asking the wrong person! I love sapphires, so I would horde LOL. I love the new ring you're making BTW!
