Do you remove them when you wash dishes, wash your hands, or shower? How about at night. Do you sleep in them?

Since getting my rings about a month ago I've been taking them off for all of the above and I wonder how necessary it is?

I used to do all of the above with my rings ON ... I saw no need to take them off. Once I get my forever set, I'll likely take them off a little more often, but they'll be so.much.bigger than my first set.

I don't do any of those things with my rings on. I don't want the mineral build up from water, or the residue from soap and bath products on my rings. And if you sleep in them, the prings can catch while you are sleeping, loosening over time, and leaving you open to stone loss, so I don't do that either. i also do not walk my dogs in them, as I have 3 beasts that pull, and I am nervous about warping them over time.

Lol, JCent, maybe the better question is when DO you wear your rings? =P

LOL! I wear them when I go out mainly...and when I watch TV, hahaha. There are usually the last thing I put on when I get ready and the first thing I take off when I get in the house.

I tend to scratch myself if I sleep with rings on so I take my ring off before bed and don't put in on until after my shower, make up and hair spray (if I'm using any of that stuff, lol). Generally I take off my ring when I need to put on gloves to protect my hands/nails. I have found that I sometimes worry more about my nails than my ring. I wash my hands, dishes, laundry, general house cleaning, basic gardening (pull a couple weeds, plant some annuals, pinch back plants, etc), craft/DIY projects and even woodworking or using some power tools (I'm not taking off a ring just to paint a little, drill a hole or cut a chunk of wood). Sandpaper and rings is a big no-no but I sometimes break that rule too.

So no, I'm not one to baby my rings, at all.

I don't wear my rings for any of the things you listed. I do, however, put them back on after though.

I never wear my rings inside my home... They are one of the last things I put on before going out and one of the first I take off when I come back home. But I only take them off in my bedroom, and put them in the dish I have for my jewelry in my closet.

I take mine off for pretty much everything. They are on when I'm out and that's about it. lol
