LOL!! I think if and when I ever mail you anything, you might curse me because I would use so much tape, it would probably take you several hours to get it opened up. I'm kind of funny about my jewelry, what I have of it. I'm like an overly protective mother when it comes to my jewelry. I can't believe people are so lax and careless when it comes to mailing their precious pieces out in the postal system, fedex, and ups! She's lucky the ring made it to you. There are some unscrupulous workers out there that would of loved to own that ring themselves.

Wow, this was a Near Call! Tape up those boxes! Wink I would think this is surprising, but I have seen it happen literally dozens of times. We now send out detailed do's and don'ts when we send our customers return instructions specifically for this. The other thing I have seen WAY too much are rings simply put in an envelope with bubble liner (the ones that have the very thin layer of bubble wrap on the inside of the package), and that is it! No ring box, no additional wrapping, simply thrown in the envelope.

The other one that cost me money was an Asha that was returned in a Fedex envelope and chipped when it ran through the auto sorting machine. There were about fifteen "poke holes" in the envelope and significant damage to the stone. The shipping services do NOT PLAY NICE WITH OTHERS when it comes to moving out goods. The only way for them to survive is to be packaged properly. I often send out videos to people on how to ship goods, but even then they often arrived poorly packaged. Wink

I remember that too, and I smiled at each layer as I opened it, confident that the ring would be in tip top condition when I finally got to it! Wink
