Maybe make chart and list everything on it in order of how often you wear it. Also rank its sentimental value and whether or not you might plan to pass it down to a daughter or daughter-in-law.
Those that rank the lowest consider selling.

I am not really a seller; it would make me sad. There are things I would sell for, however... but they would have to be big and serious things for the life of my family. If you are attached and don't want to sell, I would look at other options first. Some things are truly irreplacable.

Well, I want to reach a sales milestone in my etsy shop so I put up a coupon code, hope there are takers and I can make the money from that. I looked through all my things earlier today and therre are a couple pieces I might not mind parting with.
I'm not really that attached with some of the others, but there are some big pieces, like a white gold necklace that weights over 30 grams. I got that years ago on ShopNBC for around $300, to replace it now with a similar piece, with the cost of gold these days, it would be thousands. I don't want to get rid of my nice pieces, since I have already sold a lot.
Then I have my priceless treasures, such as the pearl earrings my dad got my mom when they were dating and she wore on their wedding day, or the necklace I have with girl and boy charms engraved with my kids' names and birth dates. I got each charm when they were born. Those have massive sentimental value!
