Here she is. The ring was my mother's ring. She had a replica of this setting made for her 1.5ct Princess cut.

I would like a bezel setting or something set very low. I want something with presence, but dainty.

I has thinking of this setting, but bezeled:

I have already contacted the ebay vendor about getting that setting with a bezel center for my approx. 5x5mm stone. I need to have the stone removed and appraised before I set it.

Ring size: 5.5 (probably more like a 5.25, but big knuckles and swelling in the heat).


Any help is appreciated.

Here are the photos. You can see the inclusion in some of these. I like the inclusion -- makes me know the stone is my stone and it's shaped like a butterfly and I know no one else can see it unless I point it out to them or you turn it sideways and you see the black mark.

If you want a bezel and a halo, I think a Tifany legacy style ring would look really nice!

Yeah, I've tried on lots of different styles at my jewelers. The legacy was one. I felt it sat a little to high, but at least the stone was protected and there wouldn't be any prongs that would get pulled.

I had dismissed it based on the height, but will plan it revisit that one.

Didn't someone here on BTD just get DK to do a custom Tiffany legacy that sat a bit lower? She had hearts on the sides and emerald suprise stones.
