It's one thing to pass a moissy as a diamond in every day life, even to family and friends. It's quite another sort of thing to commit fraud. I can't believe anyone would post this.

woah. yeah. I'm with MG.

Me too. I just had to double take what I read here. Hmmm.......

ha

I can't even comment on that post

wowzers.

as for the OP... that is so rude to ask to see it off your hand, especially since he obviously wanted to critique it. It would be like a plastic surgeon friend asking you to get naked so they could see your work.

What the...?! So you're saying you got more than you paid for it?

To the OP, I wouldn't be comfortable taking my rings off unless it was someone I was really close with. I would never even dream of asking a close friend if I could try her ring on, but maybe that's just me. Even if I did allow it, I wouldn't worry about anyone figuring out it's not a diamond. Most people can't tell the difference.

I have to admit that I have taken my ring off to let a friend get a close look at it. I didn't think she was being rude she just wanted to get a close look at the design.
Also, I've never told anyone that my e-ring isn't a diamond and no one has EVER questioned it. I wouldn't worry at all at anyone being able to tell the difference without a loupe.

Also... the comment about selling a moissy as a diamond. WOW!!! Not cool.
