The setting is a little under a carat total, 14k, size 4.5 - that's all I know for now.
The stone is an 8mm OEC unenhanced Moissy.

It was so cute...when I opened it the waitress walked by, stopped and said, "oh man, that's a nice ring! *bug-eyed*" We said thank you it's a 10 year anniversary present. *******grins********
Even though it's a halo, it's different enough for me.
I think it's cool. I have no idea what kind of band to pair it with, but I'm thinking just a plain band the same width as the pave part of the shank.
I keep thinking I would have this ring remade in platinum and upgraded diamonds in a few years, but honestly, it's pretty darn blingy as is and pretty heavy already. I can't imagine how heavy it would be in platinum. Not sure I even need to do that!
