Hi girls, I'm worried my ring will be too big of a look on my scrawny fingers. I don't want to show the CAD because although it is perfect and wonderful, he is changing it some to try and make it slightly smaller w/o removing the inner halo. For reference, the Once Upon A Time ring is an 8mm round double halo. Mine is a 9mm cushion! Whoa Nelly!
Does anyone have a ring that is wider at the top than the width of their finger and it was comfie to wear?

May I say something even though you did not ask ME? If you have doubts, please rethink NOW. I only say because when I got my last set I had that lil voice in my head saying I should have waited/saved for THE set (this new one) and for 2 years that BUGGED me. I was not wearing with all the proud I should. BUT, if you like big rings I'd go for it, it is stunning

Thanks, bg! I do like big rings. Even hubby is like...isn't that what you want? lol. I'll show you ONE CAD just so you can see where I'm concerned, but he is bringing it in in the new CAD.
Be right back. ;P

I totally agree with BG 1000%.... ... but yes... you can have a big statues ring and it be comfy... it's all in the design of the ring and what you are use to wearing .... ... I so go big or go home for the wait and time you have put in this piece flash.... just follow your heart on this one and do what you think needs to be done.... ..... we are all here if you need us...

Thanks! I will say, I don't want to change any detail at all. I love it and am already attached. But my practical side is kicking at me a little. ;P But the thought of doing an entirely different ring breaks my heart! Also, I can always wear this as rhr, which is totally acceptable for an Anniverary ring! I do plan on an Amora Gem ring, too, eventually... so here's the side view of the 1st CAD. Of course, he said the Cad will make the ring look bigger so it may not, in reality, be this wide at the top.

That does look very wide to me. While cads are bulky, they should still be proportionate. From that, it looks like the metal on each side is as wide as your center...or close to it anyway. So if the center is 9mm? 9mm on each side too? Is that what he is projecting? I would thin it out somehow, but I prefer a more delicate profile.
