I think they are trying to get production started by late summer. Some are planning to buy the Amora Gem and have it sent through a mail forwarding service to their address if their country is still covered by a patent.

The threads are crazy long but I thought I read that they are planning on opening up a store front in New Zealand as soon as they get it all going. Let me see if I can find it.....

Drats-I forgot about that jcent....OEC's being last. I have no idea how long it will take to get to them if production on rounds starts late summer and then all the others go first. Bah!!

I remember reading about NZ but forgot about that. I hope this mail forwarding thing works out because I'd be worried about theft or loss.

I am not certain, but I think someone looked into it, and you couldn't figure out a way to make it work... I would do some research as some post systems do not let you ship gems or things over certain values. In Canada, for example, the post office only insure for $500 and does not allow gemstones. I have to use Fedex.

I think for any kind of stone, you buy it bc you love it.. Jewelry these days really isnt an investment that you can reasonably expect any kind of good return on or even minimal loss- even if youre talking real diamonds. Least not unless you get into pieces that are priced with a few more 0s to the left of the decimal wink

I have the same conundrum and im going with an Amora moissy till the Gem comes out, mainly due to the durability and superior sparkliness. At that time ill prob just make a new piece of jewelry with the moissy and stick the Gem in the ering bc who cant use another good piece? :-D

Hehe. smile You're right about the conclusion you can to and that's where I'm probably going to end up. I try to be very frugal so it's hard to justify any jewelry expenses. smile
