It is described as an online pinboard. Another vehicle for social interaction. It is very photographic and those photos often link to where the image came from. I've seen recipes, clothing, craft ideas, etc. It looks like so much fun. You can request and invite (which I hear can take ages) or you can get an invite from someone that is currently on (and get instant access...or so I hear). I don't knowingly know anyone on it, so I'm waiting. www.pinterest.com

Thanks! I have heard of it before, but had no idea you had to be invited. Someone here pm'd me once to tell me that they pinned my cupcake ring, lol.

I see lots of BTD board member photos there. If you do a search there for "engagement ring", you'll see that there are lots of people out there in the public world that drool over all of the beauties here. When you pin a photo, it saves the source to link back to it. Then when someone else says, "Ooooh, shiny!" and clicks on what you pinned, it takes them to the source page. I think there are a lot of people out there getting a surprise education about alternative stones. Yay, us!
