i think time - and more randomized lab tests - is the only thing that will give us the truth about the FBs. but for now, there's proof that a laser inscribed stone was sold, with a coating.

i've got nothing against coatings, as long as i know what i'm buying!

It seems to me that Charles & Colvard is trying to make the situation right. Looking forward to seeing the test results on the new stones.

Mike, I have an enhanced moissanite. What does the upgrade to amora involve?

Mike_C - I believe you already answered this for someone else but I can't seem to find it anywhere So, my large culet OEC that was serenity enhanced via coating, could that stone be Amora-ized even though it's already got the coating on it?

Yeah I think it could. I used to work for a company that specialized in these kind of coatings. I'd guess they would take the coating off first or the amora treatment might cause the coating to come off on its own. I wish I still worked there I'd totaly try and come up with coatings to color my chris czs lol!

That would be WAY cool! The lady that bought my serenity enhanced OEC loves it but feels like I did. It's just a bit dark in the center of the stone. She likes that my Amora is "bright". She's really interested in getting the OEC Amora-ized. If it actually is possible.

Do you think that could be the difference in cut? As I think the new small culet OECs look brighter/whiter.
