For some reason I like the look of when their ring is turned because it is a little too big, lol. Or maybe it is because the center is so heavy on their little fingers...

+1 I think it's very intentional and I love it. Maybe because my mother's and grandmother's rings both do it. They are of the tiny boned, knuckles larger than fingers ilk. Me? not so much. I love how their rings spin and the sounds they make as they hit each other. It's how I will always remember my grandmother. She had a stack of like 5 rings of varying widths that were all loose, but held by her knuckle. Everything she did with her hands created such beautiful music!

I guess I can relate to that....my mom always wore this solid gold bracelet with tiny little rings in it, I guess was popular back then, one lil ring for each year of marriage, sorta like a charm bracelet, but not quite....anyway, she still wears it, and my whole life I heard that lil noise and loved it, meant she was around....

when she came to visit me last year for 3mo when LO was born there was the lil noise again, was SO comforting....weird, I know...

I kinda think is cool on some, like with a thin shank + a thin band, but the SUPER SUPER big bands that sometimes makes the ring look small - if that is even possible - the rings, that DOES bug me, LOL

Jewelry is just jewelry, but sometimes they can hold powerful sentiments, emotions, memories. Jewelry is a luxury every woman should have. Regardless of the price tag.

I love it when celebrities get real world engagement rings. Natalie Portmans, Jennifer Garner, Katy Perry, even Katie Holmes'' doesn't look obnoxious.
