Similar size - looks to be a bit more saturated. It has needles that are visable, yet they are calling it VVS so I'm not sure how they are rating the clarity.

I have purchased several stones from this seller and his photos are notoriously lousy, which means the stone is going to look better IRL, but like this one, they often have windows.

This stone isn't certed however.

Hello back-I to enjoy paraiba tourl & do own one-ur stone has a med window & more of a greenish/blue color-cut seems good & stone looks clean. Usually an appraiser would call it paraiba-like tourl unless its brazillian w/papers of origin. By my estimates the stone might cost @ $1500.00 & possibly appr 2 or 3 times that. The stone would make a nice anything to wear & a plus to ur collection. I think last year a 2.9ct brazillian paraiba sold for $100,000.00 at Touson. A 3.4ct is a nice size-steve...

Hi Steve, you are right on the money! The seller's asking price is indeed 1500, but she accepted my offer of 1100. of other stones I've seen on ebay - as that is a point of reference that has variety and pricing - my issue with this stone at this price is its window and low color saturation. Compared to others of this close size and price there is one other that has deep saturation of green, and no window. But there are more inclusions. Not as pretty imo, but because it doesn't have a window it's considered better? Having trouble deciding this!

I'm still up in the air as to what to do. I'm hunting for a stone for a more important ring. If I was hunting for a right hand ring as a Mother's Day gift or B-day gift I would be all over this without question! I don't want my ring to look cheap in a "I got the best I could afford in a Paraiba and it happens to be the lowest grade quality with a window" kind of way.

The seller, she did say she priced it lower due to its window. But I do think because of its light color it should be even cheaper. Just because it is copper bearing and therefore can technically be called a paraiba doesn't mean it should have a higher price tag. kwim?

its pretty though, so I'm stumped at the moment.

100% within 7 days, less shipping. I have until Friday to decide which is when I agreed to pay. She will let me back out which I would rather do if I'm still 50/50 on it tomorrow. It is such a pain to ship something, only to have it return...waste of shipping costs on both ends.

I'm going to ask her if she will take a pic of it outside in the sunlight.

Dark stones look better in the sunlight or with a flash, lighter stones look better in the opposite lighting conditions. Her pics seem to be taken without a flash. So, I'm curious if it washes completely out in the sunlight, or not!

I sure wish I could get it for a necklace or something if not for my anniversary ring!

BTW, the seller is pretty awesome, so far!!
