There's truth to the saying that "less is more." This ring would look much nicer in a small version.

I'm sorry, but to me, that's hideous and bulky looking. The design doesn't "flow".
I can picture a lot of other nice jewellery that I could make out of individual stones from that ring. lol.

If you popped the head off and continued with the rounds, it would make a nice eternity.

OR

If you placed that head on a plain shank, then that would make a nice ring as well.

ETA - now that I saw the scale of the ring, I take back the above sentence!

Revision: If you popped off the head on that ring, it would make a great paperweight.

Regardless of size and style, the prongs don't seem to be evenly spaced (you can see it better in the pic of the provided link on p.1 of this thread).

ETA - lots of spacing on either side of 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock points.
