It is 2:30 a.m. and I am drinking a glass of wine, eating raw cookie dough with a spoon, and sifting through my umpteen collected photos of ring settings. I can't decide if this is a sad portrait or if I'm the QUEEN.

In a few weeks it will be one year since I replaced my wedding ring Moissanite with an Amora-enhanced stone. My old stone remains loose, waiting for me to choose a setting so that I can have a second wedding ring (a BTD requirement, of course).
It's a 7.5mm round and is a really white one, so it's certainly worthy of a reset. But because it's unenhanced, it does show the snotcast when skies are gray, so the reset shouldn't be too elaborate or expensive (not to mention I can't afford elaborate and expensive). Beyond the 7.5mm round limitation, my only other limitation is that it must be yellow gold as my skin reacts to other metals.
I want a departure from my primary set, which is my avatar and which will remain my primary set. The reset is purely for fun and I'm thinking I'd like it to be more reflective of my personal style. What's my personal style? I can never figure that out. It's part cathedral, part barn, part antique, part Jeep. Go figure.
My almost-100 year old house reflects my style very well. We turned our original barn-style sliding garage doors into a headboard, mounted the rusty track on the wall and left the broken glass... then offset it with a chandelier and gold-leaf photo frames. I have *that* giant hammered copper farm sink with an apron and 10 years of patina... and it's offset by a fairly elegant stained glass window. My husband built a cabinet that I in turn destroyed with a chisel and trailer chain and paint/stain... and on the front I decoupaged a huge poster of a classy 1800s painting by Lord Frederic Leighton that we'd seen in Paris. We have a beautiful antique carved church pew as part of our dining room seating... along with wrought iron patio chairs. We work hard to maintain the original storybook ivy on the front of our English Tudor... but we store our ugly pop-up camper in the back driveway.
Do you have me all figured out now? Good, then tell me what you think of these ring ideas. I had to compress this a lot to get it to a post-able file size, so I apologize if the images aren't very crisp.
