The OMC could be just right... Not round yet cushioned, but still with gorgeous chunky facets. love

I like the OMC/OEC idea. As far as what color, I think it might be best if you saw them in person? Wink has in-stock inventory of rounds in canary, medium yellow, and dark yellow, so you might see if you can be shipped all three, pick your favorite color, and them have one custom cut. Or if you think you would like a canary OEC and think a slightly smaller stone would work, Wink has one in 7.5mm in inventory.

I think that's a great idea!! I am leaning towards the dark yellow. Is the medium yellow darker than the canary? Looks like it is on their website color guide, but i wasnt sure.

Ihave asked David how a cushion would fit into the setting too bc I'm considering the Cartier Cushion. I'm not sure why I didn't consider the open cutlets before I made this ring. Silly me!!

The only word my brain can come up with while in total awe of your ring is "W-O-W"

I think canary is *supposed* to be between medium and dark yellow, especially based on the order the stones are listed, so perhaps it's just that pic? If you look at the individual pictures of the stones the canary looks like it has some more orangey tones in it.

I think (though I don't know for sure) that if a cartier cushion would fit you'd have to go with a slightly smaller size because the diagonal (where the prongs would grab the stone) would be larger than 8 mm. A 7.5mm might fit better. And, as a side note, there's a 7.5mm canary cartier cushion in stock, too. But is canary what you had originally in your flanders and didn't like?
