Hi All!!

Can you please help me find rings similar to these styles with descending sized diamonds down the shank? I am thinking of setting my 8mm OEC light pink sapphire from BTD in a similar style setting but I have to figure out what exactly I am wanting before talking to David Klass more about it.

Thank you!!!

Here's the only one I have saved. It's probably too modern for your taste, but it sure is graceful. I picture you liking it with thinner metal on the sides and maybe some milgrain added.

Thanks ladies! smile

Thank you for those extra pictures of the ring I posted Pty! I can't remember where I found that ring and didn't have any of those pictures.

I think I will use that as a basis for my design, but I will take off the hand engraving on the sides because my e-ring already has that. I also want a different kind of basket and probably claw prongs. I like a cross between antique style and Leon Mege style. smile

Any more ideas from anyone!? smile I am happy to see more!

I was thinking of something like this for the head/undergallery, but a softer more rounded swoop down the sides and then have the metal come together and have one single claw prong instead of two...thoughts???

JuBe and PtyMom -- It is at moissanitebridal.com. They are a sister company of Moissanite Fine Jewelry, which has some mixed reviews. I personally had a great experience with them a few years ago - super white stone, awesome customer service, all of it. But Less has caught them making unfair advertising claims, using incorrect photographs, etc. So proceed with caution.

Ginger -- I'm assuming that you already know the Tacori Crescent? If not, here's a photo of it.

Gotta love Tacori-reminds me of the Leon Mege ring. That is a beautifully graceful setting.

The ring that Pty posted is an antique that was on ebay a while back. It was one of the rings I considered as a starting point for my own ering, and I think it's gorgeous. I'd love to see your version of it - it sounds like you'd make the same sorts of changes I would! smile
If you're curious about proportions and whatnot, here's a screenshot of its stats:

I feel like i had some other similar rings saved somewhere... I'll see if I can dig them up!
