I flip flop quite a bit, too. DK has been very sweet with me. He's designing a ring for me and I'm sure he wants to strangle me. 6.5mm ACC NO no no the 7mm Asha OMC no no no ... what about the 8mm ACC and then back again to the 6.5m.. OY! vey!

LOL!I am so very glad I'm not the only one I was starting to think I was the worlds worst "if-i-could-just-pick-a-ring-already" almost fiance. Feel so bad. More than a whole year I've been going on like this flip flopping about rings but I have THE one now. It "spoke" to me. Settled on the metal now I need to chose the gem and stick with it lol. Now I'm flip flopping between 2 carat and 2.5 carat H color Asha Princess style for a 7.5 finger. I'm trying to avoid ludacris size

i make this suggestion a lot, so forgive me for those of y'all who've seen it before..

but - especially if you're new to jewelry - i generally suggest perhaps a small investment into some costume jewelry. or even platinum-over-sterling like from Berricle, or HSN or JTV or whatever.

Everytime I have flip flopped between sizes I have either wished I had gone for the larger size a few weeks/months later, or ordered the smaller, and then sent it back for the larger.

OH! I will go browse this Berricle place. Not sure how I feel about HSN I've never bought anything off tv before. I found this awesome diamond sizer page on BDT Click me to see all the wonderful shapes and sizes of Asha! and I know I don't want anything less than 2.0carats. 3 seems like Godzilla to me I'm thinking middle of the road (2.5)or at least I was. I think I might take Dana's advice and shop Berricle for some cheapy pieces with a few sizes of stones. You know , while we are on the topic of Asha diamonds...I've seen on some ladies diamonds that I can't say are white but they aren't yellow or anything...infact these diamonds look like ice they are soooo white they are BLUE exactly like ice. Is that a diamond or some other precious stone I don't know about. It's sp clear and crisp I really do think they are diamonds but I can't figure out the color grade on them. I will try and dig around for a picture for you all on what I'm talking about while I await replies.

They all seem to have a tiny hint of blue. Either it's really there as in blue OR they are so clean and crisp they appear blue ? Is it a color thing like D or H or what ? I'd love to have a hint of blue in mine depending on how i turn the ring
