Today one of the little stones in the halo fell out. They no longer have my size in it at HSN. Do any of the board jewelers fix sterling silver/cz rings? I'm guessing none of the jewelers around me will fix it.

Wink will work on silver/cz rings. Joyce sent some from QVC in to him for stone swaps.

The only hitch is that they can't be plated at all.

i think rhodium plated pieces are okay - because the rhodium can be re-plated.

i *think* it's the platinum-plated pieces (Epiphany, etc) that can't be worked on, because that plating cracks and can't be repaired.

HSN doesn't repair it if something like that happens?

I think they will repair if you buy the jewelry insurance they offer. I didn't of course... I will next time for sure.

I had a beautiful Asscher Sim spinel ring from Dousset and lost a stone within a few months too! It has sat in my jewelry box ever since. Makes me wonder about the DK uternity ones that are so popular now.
