But I am worried about the 3 sided pave on my cupcake, and where it would might rub on the basket. Not to say it won't ever happen, lol.

what about using a 1.5mm half-round platinum band between the rings when you want to wear them together? That would keep them from rubbing/scraping on each other.

Any band would rub on the diamonds and cause damage to them. It isn't so much the metal I am worried about, it is the stones. It's ok though, I am happy to wear them on their own fingers. smile

I actually love them more separate...it gives them both the glory they deserve and doesn't take away from the other.

Ducking and running now..........

Which finger do you plan on wearing the band on?

I wear my princess cut on my left and my band on my right. I was fine with it, but lately that feels backward to me.

So now that I have my new twin ring, I've been wearing my band on my left and my twin on my right.

Just curious. As I tend to do a lot of switching around.

and to add --- I never got a band on our wedding day. The band I got was a 5 year anniversary gift, so there's really no attachment to any particular finger.

I wear the ring on my left hand and the band on my right. I have tried it the other way, but it looks funny to me, and they were sized for certain fingers, so it is just more comfy that way. The wedding band I got married with, I don't love. We bought them quick, to elope, and I never expected to care that I would want the one I got married with...DH either. The plan was to upgrade; mine custom to match my ering, and his something that he just really liked. But we both became attached to them. He still wears his whenever he is not at work, but it is so cheaply made it has worn and it cuts his finger, lol. And I wear mine on occasion, just around the house or for grocery shopping etc. I do have alternates now though, lol, but he doesn't want anything else.

And thank you everyone!
