Hello from Australia! I am a little obssesed with bling, and spend a lot of time looking on the internet especially at vintage settings on ebay.
About a year ago I sold off some yellow gold jewellery (I'm using the Australian spelling here!), and with the proceeds purchased a cushion cut 1.2 carat art deco platinum ring on ebay. Recycling gold for bling! My original e-ring is a beautiful champagne diamond trilogy, but I was kind of over wearing yellow gold and this new/old ring is very pretty.
I had diamond half eternity bands made, and I love this set.I had the ebay cushion cut ring valued by an independant jeweller, the replacement cost was $10,000 so I was pretty happy since I only paid $1200 for it.Lucky break maybe!
Since then I have wondered about buying vintage settings and having the diamonds reset...but THEN I discovered moissanites and I think I have fallen a little in love.
I am looking at Moissanite Co cushion cuts, and will need to buy a U prong eternity 3mm band to go with it I think!
Anyway, I am looking forward to meeting new people, and admiring bling.
I work in the child welfare sector, and have a busy life with my own family. Life is good!

Its nice to see another fellow Aussie here. I found these boards a few months ago, and you will definitely find lots of inspiration, and great advice here. I haven't actually got a moissy ring yet but its in the works. Cant wait!!
