Can we get these broken down on a GIA color scale rating? hehehe I'm a bit confused by all the names - which grade do they equal?

If there has been a post on this in the past, please forward smile

Thank you!

Oh and I know that technically some of the "named" grades aren't available anymore but a colorless can be heated to approximately what it represented..

Indeed! And any other white/light yellow WinkCZ name/grade combo that I missed is appreciated as well!

I didn't even know he had an "imperial"....is that an old one that is no longer available? I know my CW is supposed to be about an I color grade..but truly I don't notice any color...so I am wondering if I just am not sensitive to colors..or if it is just really that white! lol. That is not to say that it is like a typical cheap cz..because i definatley notice more depth and it doesn't have that cheap glass look to it.

I don't know about any others and I know there used to be a chart somewhere but for the life of me I can not find it!!

does this help?

the RLY, RG White & Chinese White are no longer available for cutting, as there is no more rough in those colours. LizC and/or WinkCZ may have remaining inventory in those colours, though.

personally, i don't believe baking a colourless CZ can truly take it from a colourless D to a warm K, but that's just my opinion. Baking certainly can improve colourless CZs a great deal, though!

This is the main reason I haven't ordered any Wink CZs. It's confusing.

Colorless: D-E color...the whitest you can get.
Royal white: replaced "RG White" which was approximately an F/G color. It is heat enhanced.
Imperial White: replaced "Chinese" or "CW" white, approximately an H color. It is also heat enhanced.
RLY: Russian Lightest Yellow. Also no longer available except for the precious few we have left in inventory. This color was approximately a J-K color on the scale. Was also referred to by some as lightest yellow.
Light Yellow: This is approximately a N-O-P color. The brilliant cuts such as the round and princess show the color differently than an emerald, Angel, or Cartier cut. The more facets, the lighter it looks.

There is a picture guide on our site which shows which color is which.
