Hi ladies and gents.

I´m buying a 1ct unenhanced OEC and have been looking high and low for a setting.

I´ve been leaning towards a bezel setting because of its simplicity but keep feeling that i want to put it into something a little more antique.

Searching everywhere for inspiration, i found the most beautiful ring I have EVER seen on langantiques.com

They have marvellous stuff, and if i could afford it, I would buy the original piece this instant.
but I can´t, and by the time i save up for it, i´m sure it will be long gone...

This is thr ring...

I´m wondering if anyone has experience replicating this sort of piece?
Or could a similar semi mount be found?

Help!
Thanks so much!

Oh wow, I love that! I'm in a similar situation - planning on an OEC moissy and trying to find the perfect setting which, for me, is a simple solitaire with a tiny bit of antiquey thrown in.

I'm sure you'll get some great ideas here and names for jewelers who can replicate this beauty!

I would suggest looking at the work of the custom jewelers on this board. You can get a feel for whose work you like best, and who you think might make it with the elements that are most important to you. Wink, Amcor, DK, Schubach's... they all have fans and lots of pics available, either on the forum or on their own sites.

I would suggest DanielM on Etsy or David Klass of course.
