So the 5mm stone went back b/c it was really too small for what I wanted it for. Swapped for a 6mm stone. It is very white and clear. Plus, I can't believe how 1 mm makes such a difference visually. Had a hard time getting a pic of how white it is....moissys are hard to represent accurately.

I can't speak for loose stones, but I had a horrible experience buying a moissy ring from tbone. It was the most disgusting thing Id ever seen! It was filthy to the point of having black goo underneath the stones and his sizing was way way off. He was a real butthead regarding the return as well.

OMG-Sorry to hear that. So far both stones I got have been great. Maybe he should stick to loose stones instead of jewelry!

Moissaniterus on ebay are very easy to work with. He offered to set my moissanite in my setting also, my only question is, Do I let him once I get my setting? I emailed a few local jewelers and they were rude about me not using them for my custom setting and then of course setting a moissanite and not a diamond. I need some advice now. Thanks girls!

Ms A-Did you get the stone through them-I can't remember...So you would need to send them the setting or are they making you a setting?

I am working with moissanitures to purchase the stone for my setting being made by amcor. So I would have to ship the setting to the man at moissanitures then he set my stone and ship it back. Like i said my local jewelers are being well less then nice, and I don't want someone who has never set moissanite try and mess up either the setting or moissanite. I was stil on a debate between amora and unenhanced, but after seeing babybling and laurie unenhanced cushions of a bigger size I now feel more confident with an unenhanced cushion of 6.5mm.

Why not do the opposite and ship the stone to Amcor to set? They are already working on the setting, why not have them do it to completion. I hear they are wonderful to work with.
