Wow, you ladies all have beautiful work. My husband is covered in tatts. I have one on my left hand ring finger on the inside. It's an infinity symbol. My husband has his on his left hand ring finger. He's a bartender so doesn't wear his w-band like ever, but he's got a permanent ring on.

I was a little scared, so they watered down the ink and you can barely see it. It kind of just looks like I got some pen ink on my finger a little. Basically non-existent.

I've been thinking about getting it redone darker. But now that I'm in "diamond" school at the GIA and planning a career change -- maybe a tatted up hand isn't the best idea.

BUT for our 6th anniversary coming up in September. My DH and I will be getting matching tattoos again. I don't know where he wants his, but I want to get mine on my left foot.

It will have our anniversary date in roman numerals and "now my heart is full". A Morrissey song/lyrics. My husband and I are HUGE morrissey fans. It's how I got the nick name Lorrissey. When I was in JR. High, some kids started calling me that to mock me, but I thought it was brilliant and I took it and ran with it. Everyone called me Lorrissey - even my teachers. It just kind of stuck. Hence - my screen name.

Our other choice (more morrissey lyrics) was: "true to you" or "i'll always stay true to you" (the longer version)

My husband has other Morrissey lyrics tattooed on him. I have always wanted to get a Morrissey-related tatt. I still may get "true to you" or "i'll always stay true to you" done -- maybe on my right foot.

You beautiful ladies with tatts on your foot ---- how did that go? I am really afraid. On a scale of 1 to 10 - how painful? easy? was it?

Love the ideas smile My foot was painful, about a 7-8, so I thought at the time. I got my back done and I realized what a real 8 was...and a 9 and a 10 LOL.
It depends on how big you go, where on your foot, who is doing the tattoo, and how much meat you have on your foot. As you can see mine goes around my ankle and down over on top of my foot. I found the ankle part to hurt more than the foot which surprises most people. I have pretty boney feet, the artist did not have a heavy hand...so looking back now it wasn't bad at all.
Make sure you post pics when you get them smile

A friend of mine just had a couple of toes done and a little on the top of her foot. She was a baby about it lol...but she was adding to it so if it hurt that bad, I doubt she would have actually added to it.

I love looking through tatts online and wish I could start over every couple of years for a new look lol

I used to have a few piercings the only one I can name is my belly button, but I took it out when I was pregnant with my first baby. Actually All my piercings got taken out due to having csections. I just never put them back in. As for tattoos I love tattoos. I am thinking of getting another one, but cannot decide on which ones. I have a tramp stamp of stars on my back, a yellow ribbon for my military support duty as an ex army wife. I also have a small four leaf clover I got when I hooked up with my Fiance. It was supposed to bring me luck, but it is on my hip.

The new tattoos I want is either love yourself. and I was thinking of putting it east and west along the side of my hip or a dandelion that has turned white with a few things blowing in the wind with the saying every breath is a second chance.

My fiance says I'm good at 3 tattoos, he doesn't have any. My ex husband was all tattooed up. The funny thing is both of there were in the military. My ex regular army and my fiance is special ops so no tattoos for him while he was in. And thats secretly one thing I love about him, his clean skin. (silly huh?)

I find with tattoos, like child birth, that if you relax as much as possible and concentrate on deep breathing and kind of go else where in your mind, you can handle almost any pain. Its when you let the pain get a hold of you and control you, that you really feel it. That mixed with anxiety and it can be very hard to deal with.
