So cool, so does he/she stay constantly latched on? or does he/she do anything else for fun while incubating? Wow can really see some changes, in the tail and eyes. Hahahaha, that was funny to me poppy!! The joey stays attached,..as to be truthful,..I think we will all learn together by pictures WHEN the baby detaches on its own!! Does Juliet act any differently with a baby in her pouch, or does she just kinda forget about it until it is bigger? Does she ever look in her pouch by herself to make sure the baby is ok? Great question Jcent!! Yes!! She does act differently by poking her head into the pouch all the time to clean the baby already!! As you know she lets me look,.but when I reached in further today,.to try and move the baby a tiny bit to see if those were boy goods,..she tightened her pouch and said "no thank you ma!" She definitely already knows she is taking care of her baby. Its so awesome!!!!!

Juliet looks in her pouch to stick the camera in there and set off the flash. Then the baby says "Bright light! Bright light!" like in the movie Gremlins (oops, I'm dating myself with that reference).

So interesting Kanga!! I was also going to ask if she would touch the joey. I didn't know if that would be dangerous or not as the baby looks so fragile. It makes sense that she is well aware and protective already; mammals are mammals. But I thought maybe like the beginning of our pregnancy...when it is so new and so small, it is easy to put it out if your mind. But she has already given birth... Very cool.

Morning Glory: A allergist of mine did try that,..and they said they had nothing for kangaroo..dang!! Dana!! Wow,...I have tried all the meds and they dont work!! I have a new appointment today with someone very unconventional!! She treats allergies with acupuncture and a method called NAET. I am so nervous,...not for treatments,.but because I want it to work so bad!! I have to be committed,..but I would do anything!! I have 8 visits per my insurance. And Dana,...I have looked EVERYWHERE for someone to create custom shots for me,..WITH his dander. Cant find it at ALL,..until I came upon this article.. Dang it!! Its too far away for me!! lol http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/articl...nimal-hair.htmlJcent,...I think Juliet already potties the baby,..hence the licking all the time. But I think the same thing!! Arent you going to know the baby off!!

the symptoms you describe with your allergic reaction are the exact same symptoms i get with mine - i'm allergic to cats. the only thing that helps me is constant exposure, and either daily (or every other day) to take the 24- hour dose of (otc) Loratadine. and washing my hands a lot.
if i forget to wash my hands before touching my face - my eyes puff up just like your picture. and if i *rub* my eyes, they go all red and runny, too. ...
much like your love of kangaroos, i can't imagine not having kitties. so i deal with my allergies as best i can... Ditto. I had cats my whole life and about 8 or 9 years ago, I started to have the same kind of allergic reaction. At the time, I was fostering 3 cats along with my own 2 AND volunteering at the cat shelter. I had to give up fostering and volunteering. I still have my 2 cats. I'm pretty sure they will probably go on record as the worlds oldest cats one day. hehe. But I do the same thing. An O-T-C clairitin/store brand Loratadine. LOTS and LOTS of hand washing, laundry and vacuuming. I vacuum everyday. But I also have 2 pekes in addition to my 2 cats, so I would kinda need to -- allergies or not. But I do also wash all the sofa pillow cushions, blankets, pet beds, etc. once a week also. I pay for it if I try to skip a day of vacuuming or skip a wash week. Small price to pay I think. and PS. I now volunteer with dogs instead of cats in case anyone was wondering.
