I'm not sure if I'll have the same ring made. I wasnt really planning on getting a new ring from a financial perspective, so I'm going to have to wait. I guess I'll have some time to think about it.

Oh my gosh I am so sorry! I wonder how they even got it! I agree with you and others... I hope they get in trouble selling what they think is a diamond.... Good call checking craigslist and ebay.. I'll bet they just might put it up.

I would take a pic of it to local pawn shops too. Have them call the police if it shows up...

or maybe, just maybe they will go to a snobby jeweler for an eval and they will tell the person its a "worthless" moissy so the person may just give it to the gym lost and found?

I actually just started trolling pawn shops and thrift stores and antique stores to find good deals.

Every once in awhile people get rid of things having NO clue what they have. My godmother just found a 3ct diamond ring AND a victorian bracelet at a thrift store. She even thought the diamond was fake, but it was very real. and the 18k yellow gold double snakes head wrapped around may have looked like play jewelry, but that was very very old and real too.

That really sucks!!! I am so sorry that happened.
