I plan on replacing my Ashas with the Amora Gem too. Provided the Amora Gem beats Asha in the "diamond likeness" dept. I'd prefer to have my stone look as close to a diamond as possible. It's hard to tell since all we have are videos of the prototypes. I can't wait for the patents to come through and we can start buying in the US.

Thank you so much for posting. I've been so concerned about durability of Asha. I currently have RB moissanite and I never have to worry about it, seems to hold up to anything.

Since I really wanted a pear, moissanite is out of the question unless BTD decides to make a pear cut years from now. I know it is not even in the plans. So I recently settled on a Asha pear, I just wish it was not such high maintenance. I had a white sapphire and it constantly needed cleaning to look good.

I have a pear moissy, and do not mind the cut at all. I actually find it chunky and pretty. Mine is blue, so I have no idea how much body colour the unenhanced have. But they come in FB now too.

I totally agree that you for 9 years, you've definitely got your moneys worth. Glad you guys like it so much!

9 years is amazing for everyday wear.... I hope to get that long out of all my ashas.... I love asha for the money... and like others I hope to be able to replace mine with Amora Gems in the future... but I totally agree with LORRISSEY... I'll probably purchase one really good sized stone at first to make sure I love them as much/more then asha before I replace mine with them... because like I said for the price and if you want a perfect diamond look... the Asha gets an A+ from me...

jcent, where did you get your blue pear moissy? Do they come in 2ct size? Do you find there is a tint in the blue in different light conditions? I've decided on a pear Asha but I really wanted a moissanite I just can't handle the warmth in certain lights.

I got my pear from Schubbies. The blue colour ranges. Like all moissy it can change in different lighting conditions. My peachy pink goes from a pale pale, to a deeper peachy colour. The blue goes from the colour I posted to a lighter blue... There is no funny tint, like an off colour It is always blue. We have a 2.1ct blue pear. It is 10x7, and mine is 12x8 for reference.
